AI Could Make Architects Cheaper

It appears that architects are longing for something such as artificial intelligence to encourage their abilities for a long time. It seems that in 1969 architect Nicholas Negroponte, published a book titled The Architecture Machine, which forecasts the possibility of a machine that would assist architects perform their job.

Negroponte dreamed of having an architectural computer that might help architects in the design process. He conjured up a machine which would aid in three unique manners.

If such a machine could be generated, then Negroponte pictured a relationship between human and machine that wasn't master and slave, but a cooperation of both for self-improvement. And that means that Negroponte's vision may

not be too far away from being completely achieved.

Negroponte further explains the device as being able"to exhibit alternatives, identify incompatibilities, make ideas." Machines will do the heavy lifting while builders can focus on city making.
