AI Of Human-Kind

Many decades back, you may remember a book describing our growing dependency upon machines, devices, and AI. On several occasions, I have attempted to bring awareness to this particular phenomenon of artificial intelligence's skills in generating or re-creating itself... over and over again. What once was a'science-fiction' narrative has been brought to bear, in living color, a scientific fact.

The guide, Device Machine Dependent, has clarified instances and descriptions where robots or robotics are made to emulate the activities, abilities, and look (s) of humankind... Human-Like "; The Picture of Its' Creator!

How frequently have you been in your vehicle and participated in a shouting match or argumentative interaction with your'GPS' or interface that is onboard? Aw, c'mon now... haven't you gotten mad and yelled in the apparatus once the voice supporting it gives you screwed up or incorrect instructions? Sure you have.

Selene Yeager, a leading author, spoke of a doctoral student at Stanford University, who specialises in Human-Technology-Interaction.

"We (humans) get confused and mad because we don't know exactly what the'GPS' is"thinking," David Miller states.

This author (yours truly), however, is and was guilty of that specific type of behavior. I am able to remember to key in a way (when that wasn't satisfactory, I attempted to engage the voice control option), the damned thing explained directed me to take a highway and depart... I followed suit. When I realised the instructions where totally wrong - the accursed voice set us on"The Highway To Hell!"

We traveled sixty miles outside and from our projected"Pocono Mountain" destination.

Well, I'm here to let you know, I momentarily (Oh, like so many) became insane and started screaming at the voice interior of the'GPS system' Miller went on to say, In the future, when your GPS provides you instructions, it may provide you a justification, so you will have a better two-way relationship.

... Yeah, right. I'm happy when and when the item gets me into my unknown destination(s)... through the correct route! I don't mean to be to hard on the device... it's a pretty good little tool once it works as expected.

"A Bit Of The Apple" addressed the'IT' community on large issues regarding Apple's stance on"covert and proprietary practices" in the world of technology; hardware and software - particularly its hardware solutions. Apple's'IT' decision makers espouses an ergonomic defect that shows a preference, They have said"Apple-like" form over function, i.e., the iMAC connectors on the rear of their machines are designed and/or decided by rectal retention.

Their'IT' management group describes one possible meaning of"Anal Retention." It can also be called a"Flex Point" or"Point of Inflection." Apple direction says its proprietary devices are placing more effect into business user advertising. Apples' devices are making their way into the enterprise arena as'IT' managers, not users, such as them.

The'end-user' report highlights the fact, suggesting the product(s) being as good and excellent on simplicity of use, design, and dependability. Does anyone remember the definition of cloning?

A lot of us have PC's in our homes now. And there are lots of others who believe they are, and think they are a step ahead while using home-robots like Alexa or IBM'S Watson and a myriad of cloned devices that wash, track, and organize their everyday lives or lifestyles.

Where is your mobile phone?

It used to be the desk-top computer that was the central'Internet' connection. Then it was the'Notebook' The"Tablet" continues to be popular these days, but the"Smart-Phone" outshines them all. All one has to do is just look around... Look and see just how many people are walking, running, riding, driving, and flying... dependent upon those always relinquishing devices to sustain them in their life, and their own lives on this world.

Not long ago, a vicious computer virus wrestled control from some 400,00 computers across over 160 countries in one of the worst global cyber attacks and pc ailments.

The virus blocked all access to programs, files, mainframes, and networks unless the computer owner(s) paid a ransom. The elicit-able funds could only be paid through" Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is online money that's almost impossible to follow. The Bitcoin money is traded for the purchase of a"ransom key." Often, victims have paid the money simply to not get the key to unlock their computers (or even ) systems, losing both their cash and their information.

This episode should serve as a major wake-up call for users with the considerably encouraged"must-do" process (s) on PCs and Internet devices in their own care or use and preventing viruses, botnets, web-crawlers, malware, worms, etc.. )

I certainly agree with the author, Doug Shadel, in suggesting that users/owners regularly backup your important files to an external drive or remote storage support; possess a pop-up blocker running on your web browser at all times; instantly leave websites you've been routed to with no consent; use a reputable antivirus program - keeping it updated in any way times; ensure your software (and anti virus software) is up so far; don't click on links or open attachments from email addresses you don't know; and buy only legitimate applications - and register it.

Do you recall the scene from the film"Star Wars," where the bar-tender shouts at'Luke Skywalker' to receive his droids out of his institution?

Many businesses are using sentiment analysis to gauge the mood(s) on social networks or the net... but getting insight takes new tactics and skills," said Doug Henschen of'Techweb.'

It takes new tactics and skill-sets so as to acquire a position in the new world of IT, BI, Communications, and Analytics." This decision is postulated via the published post, Destruction and Creation - A New Jobs Hyperbole." No one can deny the massive and significant changes that have happened in the'New World Economy' of this century. How about a world and future such as that of"Logan's Run?" Will robots become the newest judges, attorneys, congressional appointees, senatorspresident or president? Those of us who are aware, interested, or motivated in or supporting the continuation of mankind's predominate over machines, must become the master of both sides of IT/BI.

AI: Artificial Intelligence... is in contrast to the natural (Human/Animal-like) intelligence... that the capability of a computer or robot doing what is normally or commonly done by people or animals - with intelligence or intelligent abilities... the ability to think.

How long will it be before humans (man-kind) are entirely out-thought by AI - becoming completely and utterly our replacements as opposed to being our once-upon-a-time servants?

How Long? Not Long! Now, doesn't this argument make you wonder why... AI... of all Human-kind? Which Came First, The Chicken Or The Egg?
